Brewdog Wingman Session IPA
It has been a while since I tried a Brewdog beer, so I thought it was time to give one a go. A session IPA should be quite drinkable, right?

Expectations
Mellow tropical fruits? That worries me a bit. The piney notes are somewhat concerning too, though I'm willing to hope for the best.
Experience
It's a pale yellow colour, a bit cloudy. There is barely any head on it, though there are plenty of bubbles in the beer.
It does smell a bit fruity - either mango or pineapple. Maybe they actually meant pineapple in the blurb and not pine. It doesn't smell of pine anyway, which comes as a relief. I don't want my beer to smell like disinfectant.
The taste is a little bit fruity, but not sweet. Taste-wise it is more like grapefruit than anything I would class as tropical, but it isn't too prominent and it doesn't hang around in my mouth.
It's not bad, but the level of fruitiness would put me off drinking a second can straight away.
Verdict
3/5 : Drinkable and quite pleasant, but one is enough.
